My mission is to help organisations lead change in a way that creates traction, trust, and lasting results. Not by adding more process, pressure, or consultants—but by shifting how leaders think, act, and relate to the people they lead.
I Didn't Set Out to Manage Change. I Wanted to Make It Human.
I'm Kathy Coleman. For over 35 years, I've led large-scale transformation programmes for iconic UK brands like John Lewis, Lloyds Banking Group, Marks & Spencer, AXA Investments, RBS and RAC.
But beneath every programme I delivered was a deeper quest—to understand why people behave the way they do through change, why we make ourselves unhappy, and how we create distress for ourselves and others in the name of performance.
I didn't set out to simply lead change—I wanted to make it less painful, less stressful, and more meaningful. Early on, I saw how the way leaders approached transformation often created unnecessary pressure. I knew there had to be a better way.
I wanted change to feel different. I believed it could be something people felt engaged in, found purpose through, and—even when challenging—could draw a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction from. That belief led me down a decades-long path of exploring human behaviour in the high-stakes world of transformation.
Under intense pressure, I learned what enables leaders and teams to thrive—or unravel—when everything is in motion.
What I Do Isn't Just Another Framework.
There are plenty of change models that promise results. But few challenge the real reasons change fails. Even fewer address what's going on beneath the surface—in the minds and behaviours of the people leading it.
My work doesn’t rely on playbooks from the 90s, motivational quick fixes, or rigid consultant-led systems. I help leaders see what they can’t yet see in themselves—so they stop getting in their own way.
Together, we surface the unconscious beliefs, habits, and responses that keep change stuck—and replace them with leadership practices grounded in clarity, ownership, and awareness.
